Nieves Lavi is an emerging fashion label that is widely recognized for its bold, beautiful South America-inspired prints and easy-to-wear designs. The Nieves Lavi dresses are coveted for their feminine cuts and breezy fabrics. The company was founded by Sam Nieves Velez and Sharen Lavi who have over 17 years combined fashion experience, which includes pattern making for Anna Sui, costume design for the theater and accessory design.

While both designers graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, each has his or her respective role in the company. Velez serves as Creative Director (research and development of all collections) while Lavi serves as the Art Director (conceptualizing and co-designing all collections, monitoring quality control, sales and marketing) for the brand.

The duo draws on their experience from working with renowned designers such as Harve Benard, DKNY, Ralph Lauren and Vera Wang as well as their own personal styles.
